Balto

除了人與人之間的愛，人與動物間的關係也可以刻骨銘心。

1925年，一片冰封的阿拉斯加突然爆發傳染病白喉，令區內兒童的性命岌岌可危。一隻混合了雪橇犬與狼的混種狗狗，不畏風雪，帶領隊伍跨越六百哩的荒野，取得救援藥物。Frederick G. R. Roth設計的狗銅像"Balto" (1925)，立於曼克頓中央公園。

Robert Burns

當魚水之歡結束，對戀人們來說可能非常可惜，但剛好是藝術創作的開始。這是十八世紀蘇格蘭詩人Robert Burns在中央公園文學漫步Literary Walk的雕像。

Angel of the Waters

這是形而上的愛。Bethesda噴泉上的雕像"Angel of the Waters"，Emma Stebbins的作品，建於1868年。紀念同年紐約興建的第一條食水管道，大幅減少以水為媒介的傳染病。

Statue of Liberty

她，代表著自由的無價。詩人Emma Lazarus的"The New Colossus": "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free’ and so on?"
